We stayed two nights in a standard and the rest in an exceptional or whatever they had available.
While the customer service is fantastic, the building is pretty old and tired.
The real problem is that you cannot see on line what you are renting so, even if the rating is exceptional, you might end up in a unit that does not suit you.
I strongly suggest to show pictures of the units that are booked for you and not to impose what is available on the guests.
Pool was dirty during our stay and honestly given the warm weather we would have preferred a clean pool on the 70 degrees afternoons

We stayed in an "exceptional" unit for 2 nights.
Pros: The kitchen was very modern with granite countertops. The living room was spacious and had a flat screen TV. Both of the bedrooms also had flat screen TVs. The master bathroom was beautiful with a huge shower. It was a short walk to the Snowmass Mall.
Cons: The master bedroom was on the first floor and the window was close to the road. I was woken up early in the morning because of heavy traffic. The beds were a little hard, not like you would find at a fine hotel. No view from the hot top or pool.

We stayed here for a week with our 3 young kids. Our unit was very spacious, clean & well furnished. The room was cleaned daily. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. Great location, close to everything.

We rented a 2 bdrm "exceptional" and the unit was nicely appointed. Everything we needed was inside. The property is very contemporary but feels "cozy" and very impressive overall. Only consideration to future lodgers is logistics of units. As with most mountain condos, there are lots of stairs and we weren't aware many would be multiple flights. Great staff, wonderful location, and we would definitely stay at Woodrun Place again.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit with 5 adults and 6 kids it was great. We had a unit that was rated as top of the line "Exceptional" and it was all of that. The view was awesome! The staff and shuttle was more than accommodating. The only down fall was the steps.

We had a wonderful stay at Snowmass. The condo was extremely convenient to everything within Aspen/Snowmass (view of the slopes and village was great!). We traveled with two children and some friends and everyone enjoyed themselves. The only down side to the condo was the three floors - you had to walk up several flights of stairs to get to the main living area and bedroom. After a tiring day on the slopes it was tough. The staff at Woodrun were extremely accomodating with the shuttle service being the most convenient we have ever experienced. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. We will definitely be back.

Wood run place was an excellent choice. We spent a week there during the kid's Feb vacation. The unit was clean and is in a great convenient location. Snowmass is a great mountain with a lot for everyone. The unit could use an update, but was still nice and things were in good shape, though not new. The construction was not an issue for us, as our unit, #35 did not look out on it. It was a great unit for a family of four as it is on the ground floor and you can ski right out from the back door down to the slopes and back to it at the end of the day. We had a fabulous week!!

We stayed in Woodrun Place during the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival. We had such a great time. The condo was awesome and my 4 year old daughter did not want to leave! The view was beautiful from our back porch, I loved just sitting out there and relaxing. I thought the price was right too. Snowmass Village is a wonderful place to just hang out. Thanks for a great vacation, we will be back for sure!

Construction at the base village is still underway, but I didn't find it bothersome. The 1 bedroom loft condo was gorgeous, spacious and very clean. Service was excellent. My son left a very dear stuffed animal there and they found it and sent it to home to us within days of our stay. We would definitely stay again.

True ski-in, ski-out. Excellent staff and courtesy shuttle service. Three bedroom condo was furnished with pieces we would choose for our home. Could watch the kids from the den or balcony as they skied on the beginner slope. Heated bathroom floor was an unexpected pleasure. I would highly recommend staying here and we will probably stay here again.

My family loves Woodrun Place! We have been staying here every summer and winter for the past couple of years and it is nothing but the best. The staff is very curtious, amenities are wonderful, condos are spacious, and the ski in/out is great! We wouldn't think about staying anywhere else!

Stayed for 5 nights in 2BR preferred condo. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Cooked all our meals at the condo. Ski-in-out access and on-site rentals were superb. Made it from the airport to the slopes in less than 1 hour without our own equipment or rental car. Thanks for a superb vacation!
